I see my present line of research as the outcome of an intellectual and philosophical trajectory characterized by an early engagement with Marx, Hegel, Gramsci, Lukacs, and Critical Theory, followed by a gradual expansion of my field of observation, up to encompassing the main trends within the tradition of modern and contemporary philosophy, with Hobbes, Kant, Schelling, Nietzsche, Heidegger and Derrida as its milestones.  In this context, my line of research aims to integrate these layers of philosophical reflection, reading them as episodes in a many-sided quest for the disclosure of the theological-political and historical core of the modern age. In other words, my line of research aims to reach a standpoint from which political theology might be appropriated for a critical understanding of the modern world and its present all-encompassing crisis.
